E-Bikes by TELEFUNKEN

After the successful launch of the first E-Bike models under the TELEFUNKEN brand name during IFA 2016 we, as license partner of TELEFUNKEN Licenses GmbH, are successively widening our product range for the bicycle season 2017. The current models are so-called Pedelecs (Pedal Electric Cycles) where the rider is being supported by an electric motor while actively pedalling. 8 adult bikes are currently available, with more to come soon. All Pedelec models have a light aluminum frame and are equipped with a high-quality battery and transmission. The high quality standard is continuously being monitored by running production controls. Furthermore, the first models of the "Multitalent" product range with front hub motor have been certified with "EPAC Bicycle Safety" by independant test laboratory HANSECONTROL. Sales and distribution are continuously expanded through all channels in Germany and Austria.

• Citybikes, Mountainbikes and Folding bikes for adults are currently available; further types, such as Trekking and Youth bikes, are to follow soon.
• First models of the „Multitalent“ product range with front hub motor under TELEFUNKEN brand have been tested by independant test laboratory HANSECONTROL and certified for „EPAC Bicycle Safety“.
• Sales and distribution in Germany and Austria are taking place through specialized retail, mail order retail and are continuously expanded.

Since October 2016 we manufacture and distribute several Pedelec models under the TELEFUNKEN brand name. The current line-up opening the bike season 2017 is made up of 5 different Citybikes, 2 Mountainbikes and one Folding bike. The TELEFUNKEN range of products is soon to be expanded by light Citybikes, Mountainbikes and Folding Pedelecs for adults, as well as further Trekkingbikes and Youth bikes. All Citybikes are unisex and available in the colors anthrazite matt and shiny white, and they are available in retail shops across Germany. The Pedelecs support the rider up to a speed of 25 km/h and are declared as bicycles under ISO4210. Hence, the currently available Pedelec models can be used on bicycle trails. There is currently no helmet law for these types of Pedelecs. However, wearing a helmet is highly encouraged by Karcher AG for reasons of safety.
